Role Overview
The Director of Health Administration and Policy Planning will oversee the strategic planning, administration, and formulation of health policies within the Isiolo County Government. This role is crucial for managing health system structures, driving policy development, and ensuring administrative excellence across county health programs.
Requirements for Appointment
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
A Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Health Management, Public Health, or a related field.
A Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Health Systems Management, or a related field is an added advantage.
Must possess a valid practising license from the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
Certifications in strategic leadership, health economics, or management training courses (lasting 4-6 weeks) are an added advantage.
Meet all the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
