Role Overview
The Director – Digital Transformation and ICT Services is a high-level leadership position (Grade PSC 3) responsible for spearheading the Commission's digital evolution. This role involves setting the strategic direction for ICT services, managing critical infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless implementation of innovative digital solutions to enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive digital transformation strategies aligned with the Commission's goals.
Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management of ICT infrastructure, systems, and diverse digital platforms.
E-Government Initiatives: Coordinate the implementation of e-government projects and high-impact ICT initiatives.
Security & Integrity: Ensure robust data security protocols and maintain the integrity of all digital systems.
Service Delivery: Supervise technical support functions and ensure high-quality ICT service delivery.
Innovation Support: Promote and support the adoption of cutting-edge digital solutions within the organization.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance and reliability of ICT systems and operations.
Strategic Advisory: Provide expert advice to management on digital technology and emerging ICT trends.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: Significant experience in a senior leadership role within the ICT sector, preferably with a background in digital transformation management.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of e-government frameworks, ICT project management, and cybersecurity protocols.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage large-scale technical teams and lead organizational change.
