Job Description
The County Government of Bomet is seeking to recruit a Director for Civic Education and Public Participation (Grade CPSB 03). This is a senior management position responsible for spearheading the county's civic engagement strategies and ensuring effective public involvement in governance processes.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must meet the following criteria:
Be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Political Science, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Sociology, Communication & Development Studies or equivalent qualification.
Have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a senior administrative position.
Possession of a Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
Must have completed a Senior Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks.
Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications.
Must have demonstrated professional competence and managerial capability.
