Our client in the Telecommunications sector seeks to recruit a Direct Sales Agent (DSA) to be based in Kisii. Reporting to the Shop Team Leader, the primary purpose of this role is to market and sell company products and services to all customers in a professional manner. The agent must adhere to and function within the guidelines for finance controls, processes, and policies that encompass the retail operations mandate.
Key Responsibilities
Generate Sales: Achieve and exceed targets for Airtime, Acquisitions, and Devices.
Inventory Monitoring: Monitor inventory and consignment stock daily to ensure accurate balance of inventory movements and physical stock.
Cash Management: Manage daily cash float and account for all daily sales accurately.
Customer Experience: Support and implement customer experience improvement strategies to drive sales growth.
Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers, particularly regarding the configuration of data devices.
Requirements
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in a sales-driven environment.
Core Competencies: Customer focus, networking, building partnerships, influencing, negotiating, and analytical thinking.
Leadership Competencies: Strategic orientation, business acumen, results orientation, and commitment to developing self and others.
