Our client in the Telecommunications sector seeks to recruit a Direct Sales Agent (DSA). The primary purpose of this role is to market and sell company products and services to all customers in a professional manner. The successful candidate will adhere to and function within the guidelines for finance controls, processes, and policies that encompass the retail operations mandate.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation: Achieve targets for Airtime, Acquisitions, and Devices.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory and consignment stock daily to ensure an accurate balance of physical stock and inventory movements.
Cash Management: Manage daily cash float and account for all daily sales.
Customer Experience: Support and implement customer experience improvement strategies to drive increased sales.
Technical Support: Offer technical assistance to customers, specifically regarding the configuration of data devices.
Qualifications and Experience
Academic: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in sales.
Competencies
Technical Skills: Marketing skills, Product Knowledge, Upselling and Cross-selling, Solution Orientation, and Customer Relationship Management.
Core Competencies: Customer focus, networking and building partnerships, influencing and negotiating, and analytical thinking.
Leadership Competencies: Strategic orientation, business acumen, results orientation, and developing self/others.
