Job Description
The Diplomatic Technology (DT) Administrator is a member of the DT Infrastructure team, responsible for administering both classified and unclassified Information Technology (IT) systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This role involves providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, conducting system analysis, managing configurations, and fulfilling tasks that require sensitive access. The incumbent will operate systems with a post-wide impact and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to customers on classified and unclassified systems through multiple channels.
Conduct system analysis and configuration management for IT infrastructure.
Fulfill tasks requiring sensitive access and operate systems with post-wide impact levels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Assist in network security measures and conduct system audits for compliance.
Educate users on information security best practices.
Participate in Diplomatic Technology initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, IT, or Engineering).
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in computer networking operations, network management, or utilization of computer systems.
Security Clearance: Possession of a Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
