Guaranty Trust Bank Plc (GTB) is a leading Banking Group headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, and listed on the Nigeria and London Stock Exchange. We are looking for a Digital Banking Officer based in Nairobi to drive and manage digital and transactional banking services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing digital channel sales, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency within the digital banking ecosystem. This role requires a blend of technical understanding of banking systems and strong sales and marketing acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales and marketing efforts for digital banking platforms and transactional services.
Monitor and optimize the performance of digital channels to enhance user experience.
Ensure all digital banking activities comply with regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, and financial reporting standards.
Utilize banking operations and systems effectively to support digital services.
Perform data analysis to track channel performance and customer trends.
Prepare detailed reports and engage with various stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Sales and Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Professional Certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Sales-related certifications are preferred.
At least 3-5 years of experience in Digital Banking, Transactional banking, and Digital Channels Sales within the Banking Industry.
Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and frameworks specific to the Kenyan banking sector.
Experience with bank operations and systems; familiarity with data analysis tools is highly advantageous.
Strong familiarity with anti-money laundering (AML) protocols and financial reporting standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
