Job Description
The Teachers Service Commission is seeking to recruit two (2) Deputy Directors for Human Resource Management. This role supports the implementation of human resource management strategies and policies within the Commission to ensure quality education and professional teaching services.
Role Overview
The Deputy Director – Human Resource Management supports the implementation of human resource management strategies and policies within the Commission. This role involves coordinating core HR functions and ensuring adherence to public service guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support implementation of human resource management policies and procedures.
Coordinate staff recruitment, placement, and deployment processes.
Support staff performance appraisal and management systems.
Manage employee relations and staff welfare programs.
Assist in the implementation of human resource planning initiatives.
Monitor compliance with public service human resource management guidelines.
Support staff development and professional training programs.
Prepare human resource reports and documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field.
Demonstrated professional conduct and adherence to the commission's core values.
Experience in Human Resource Management within a public or large-scale institutional setting is preferred.
Candidates must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution on Leadership and Integrity.
