Deputy Commission Secretary – Organization Design and Career Management

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinating the development and review of organizational structures within public institutions to ensure operational efficiency.
• Supporting the implementation of career management and progression frameworks to enhance talent development within the public service.
• Advising ministries and state departments on organization design and workforce planning strategies.
• Monitoring the implementation of public service organizational reforms to ensure alignment with government objectives.
• Supporting institutional capacity development initiatives.
• Coordinating workforce planning and job evaluation processes across government entities.
• Reviewing organizational design proposals submitted by government institutions for approval.
• Preparing detailed reports on organizational development and career management initiatives for the Commission.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) or a Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized institution.
• Extensive knowledge of public service operations and organizational design principles.
• Proficiency in career management frameworks and workforce planning.
• Strong analytical and advisory skills.
