Job Description
Kenyatta University is seeking a qualified individual to join the Department of Recreation and Sport Management as a Lecturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, engaging in impactful research, and contributing to the academic development of students within the department. This role requires a blend of academic excellence and practical industry or research experience to effectively prepare students for careers in recreation and sports management.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Must possess a Masters degree in relevant areas of specialization from a recognized University.
Teaching Experience: At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University level, or equivalent experience in Research or Industry.
Tertiary Experience: Candidates with four (4) years of teaching experience in a tertiary institution will also be considered.
Advanced Degree: A PhD degree in a relevant area of specialization will be considered an added advantage.
