Kenyatta University, a multi-campus public university in Kenya, is seeking a qualified individual to join the Department of Human Anatomy as a Lecturer. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction, contributing to the academic development of students, and engaging in research activities within the field of Human Anatomy.
Responsibilities
Deliver lectures and conduct practical sessions in Human Anatomy for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Develop and update course materials and curriculum content to meet academic standards.
Supervise student research projects, testimonials, and academic assessments.
Engage in original research and contribute to the university's research output.
Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
Participate in departmental meetings and other university administrative duties.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Possession of a Master's degree in a relevant area of specialization from a recognized University.
Experience: At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University level, or equivalent experience in Research or Industry.
Alternative Experience: Candidates with four (4) years of teaching experience in a tertiary institution will also be considered.
Added Advantage: A PhD degree in a relevant area of specialization is highly desirable and will be considered an added advantage.
