Job Description
Kenyatta University is a multi-campus public university in Kenya. The university is currently seeking a qualified individual to join the Department of Agricultural Sciences & Technology as a Lecturer. The role involves academic instruction, research, and contribution to the university's academic community across various campuses.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Must possess a Master's degree in relevant areas of specialization from a recognized University.
Teaching Experience: At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University level, in Research, or within the Industry.
Alternative Experience: Candidates with four (4) years of teaching experience in a tertiary institution will also be considered.
PhD: A PhD degree in a relevant area of specialization will be an added advantage.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures to students in the Department of Agricultural Sciences & Technology.
Conduct research and contribute to the academic body of knowledge in agricultural sciences.
Supervise student academic work and provide mentorship.
Participate in departmental administrative duties and curriculum development.
Engage in community service and other university-sanctioned activities.
