Role Overview
Jocham Hospital, a leading private medical service provider situated along the Mombasa/Malindi Road in Mombasa County, is seeking a qualified Dentist to join its clinical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care services, diagnosing oral health conditions, and performing necessary treatments to ensure patient satisfaction and health.
Responsibilities and Duties
Examine patients' teeth, gums, and related tissues to diagnose diseases, injuries, or malformations.
Perform restorative and surgical procedures such as fillings, extractions, and cleaning.
Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs.
Advise and educate patients on preventive dental care, including oral hygiene and diet.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within the hospital management system.
Ensure the dental clinic operates under strict sterilization and safety protocols.
Coordinate with other medical departments for multidisciplinary patient care where necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Must be a holder of at least a Diploma in Dentistry, Dental Surgery, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of proven clinical experience in the relevant field of dentistry.
Professional Registration: Must be registered with the relevant medical/dental board in Kenya (KMPDC).
Skills: Strong manual dexterity, excellent diagnostic abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
