The Demand Analyst – Distribution (Wholesale) at Healthy U is a key role focused on building and managing wholesale demand forecasts to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing waste. You will be responsible for SKU-level forecasting, inventory optimization, and analyzing distribution patterns to improve overall efficiency within the wholesale division.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting: Build and manage wholesale demand forecasts by distributor, brand, and SKU, capturing key demand drivers and managing the monthly forecast lock.
Inventory Management: Optimise availability and inventory through stock visibility, Min–Max cover, replenishment planning, FEFO rotation, and early risk flagging.
Loss Reduction: Reduce backorders, returns, and short-expiry exposure by tracking drivers, analysing root causes, and feeding learnings back into forecasting and inventory rules.
Distribution Analysis: Improve distribution efficiency by analysing demand by route, delivery frequency, and ordering patterns to support route planning and cost optimisation.
Governance and Reporting: Deliver disciplined reporting and governance through weekly action reports and S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) demand inputs.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Supply Chain/Procurement, Economics & Statistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in demand analysis or a similar analytical role.
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and statistical capabilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Prior experience with ERP systems is required, with SAP being highly preferred.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic actions.
