West Kenya Sugar Limited is seeking a Decanter Operator to join our production team. The role is responsible for overseeing and managing the technical processes involving fermentation and distillation systems to ensure optimal production output and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Run fermentation, distillation, and process control systems.
Monitor critical parameters such as temperature, pressure, and yield to ensure efficient operations.
Troubleshoot process issues in real-time to minimize downtime.
Work closely with lab and maintenance teams, where applicable, to maintain process integrity.
Requirements and Qualifications
BSc in Industrial Chemistry or a Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
0–5 years of experience in a process plant (e.g., distillery, brewery, or chemical plant).
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable working in shift rotations.
