Job Description
As the Data Insights & Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for providing reporting, analytics, and strategic insights for a portfolio across multiple products and credit lifecycle segments, including originations, account management, and collections. Utilizing technical tools such as SQL, Python, and Power BI, this role drives the automation of production reports to ensure high levels of efficiency and accuracy. Your core objective will be to translate data into actionable insights for Senior Managers, enabling them to formulate data-driven strategies that effectively drive the business forward.
Responsibilities
Provide reporting, analytics, and strategic insights for portfolios across various products and segments (originations, account management, collections).
Drive the automation of production reports using SQL, Python, and Power BI to enhance efficiency.
Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for Senior Management.
Support the formulation of business strategies through data-driven recommendations.
Manage and lead a team in an analytics capacity.
Requirements
Qualifications
A First Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Information Technology, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Studies, Data Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Technology, Business Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
5-7 years of professional experience in an analytics role.
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or team management role, preferably within the financial services or insurance industry.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and Power BI or other visualization tools.
Strong statistical analysis skills and knowledge of Machine Learning techniques.
A solid understanding of Business Intelligence, data warehousing, and data architecture.
Familiarity with data governance and privacy standards.
Knowledge of data monetization strategies.
