Customer Service Operations Associate

The Role

We are a young, agile company seeking an Associate for a highly demanding and process-oriented role. This position requires individual smarts and precision in execution. Key Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both customers and transporters.
• Customer Service: Achieve high standards of customer service and ensure proper transporter management.
• Transaction Oversight: Manage customer transactions, including tracking trips and providing after-sale service.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the shipment of goods from shippers to customers.
• Issue Resolution: Communicate effectively with shippers, transporters, and customers to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Efficiency Optimization: Identify and implement transportation routes that minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Communication: Maintain clear and efficient communication with all team members and external partners.
• Process Improvement: Implement operational improvements and maintain exemplary records.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: University degree level education.
• Experience: Approximately 2 years of post-university work experience (experience in a start-up environment is a significant plus).
• Professionalism: High degree of professionalism and extreme attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Analytical Skills: Good mathematical skills and strong forward-planning capabilities.
• Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal skills, and good organizational/administrative abilities.
• Industry Preference: Preference for candidates with a background in service and hospitality industries.
• Operational Readiness: Ability to withstand pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work flexibly (evenings, weekends, and public holidays). Intermittent travel is required.
