With over 20 years of operational experience, the company is looking for a qualified Credit Controller to manage credit policies and debt collection efforts effectively.
Role Overview
The Credit Controller will oversee the credit granting process, monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payments, and managing debt recovery. This role is critical in maintaining the company's cash flow and minimizing financial risk.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage the end-to-end credit control and debt collection process.
Monitor customer account balances and ensure adherence to credit limits.
Identify and resolve customer payment discrepancies and queries.
Negotiate repayment plans and maintain regular communication with debtors.
Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
Prepare analytical reports on aged debt and collection performance.
Ensure a high level of accuracy in financial records and customer account management.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (BA/BSc/HND).
Professional Certification: CCP (Certified Credit Professional) qualification is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing customer accounts and implementing credit policies.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
