West Kenya Sugar Limited is seeking a CPU Operator to manage and run fermentation, distillation, and process control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the production process through continuous monitoring and real-time problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
System Management: Run and manage fermentation, distillation, and central process control systems.
Process Monitoring: Constantly monitor critical production parameters such as temperature, pressure, and output yield to ensure they remain within target ranges.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve process-related issues in real-time to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
Collaboration: Coordinate and work closely with the laboratory and maintenance teams to ensure seamless plant operations.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Chemistry or a Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
Experience: 0 to 5 years of experience working in a process plant environment (e.g., distillery, brewery, or chemical plant).
Skills: Strong analytical thinking and technical problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility: Must be comfortable working in a shift-based environment.
