Key Responsibilities
Provide Academic and Career Guidance: Assist university students in choosing courses, managing academic challenges, and planning career paths.
Offer Personal and Social Counseling: Support students with personal issues, stress, anxiety, and social integration within the campus environment.
Conduct Group Workshops and Seminars: Organize programs on study skills, time management, mental health awareness, and leadership development.
Conflict Resolution and Mediation: Facilitate resolution of conflicts among students, or between students and faculty, promoting a positive campus climate.
Maintain Confidential Records: Keep accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, interventions, and follow-ups.
Qualifications and Skills
Master’s degree preferred.
Ability to build trust, show empathy, and provide guidance to students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in student counseling, guidance, or a related educational support role.
Certification in counseling or guidance from a recognized institute or professional body.
