Britam is seeking a Corporate Pension Relationship Assistant to manage assigned low-tier customer portfolios and provide administrative and operational support to the Relationship Management team. The role ensures efficient service delivery, timely reporting, and the smooth execution of pension scheme operations.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management: Own the planning and delivery of customer engagement forums for the assigned portfolio, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.
Client Support: Act as the first-line support for basic client inquiries and escalate unresolved issues as necessary.
Operational Liaison: Serve as a liaison between customers and the pension operations team to ensure queries and requests are resolved within set timelines.
Meeting & Event Coordination: Prepare meeting packs, presentations, and logistics for member education forums, AGMs, and trustee engagements.
Documentation & Communications: Develop customer communications, training manuals, and write-ups regarding Retirement Benefits.
Technology Training: Coordinate logistics for customer technology training, including invites, follow-ups, and attendance registers.
Governance & Compliance: Coordinate Board of Trustee and Annual General Meetings for various plans (Income Drawdown, Individual, and Umbrella). File compliance documents such as governance policies and Trust deeds with the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA).
Financial Administration: Monitor contribution and arrears collections and assist in clearing suspense balances.
Reporting: Develop routine reports and ensure data accuracy before submission.
System Management: Review customer documentation and raise requests in the CRM (Customer Requests Management) system for tracking.
Audit Support: Facilitate the provision of data and information required during scheme audits.
Customer Service: Attend to walk-in customers under employer-sponsored schemes.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
Experience: 1 - 2 years’ experience in pensions, financial services, or relationship management.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of RBA regulatory requirements and pension industry concepts.
Authority: Operates within the approved Delegated Authority Matrix.
