Role Overview
BURN is looking for a Corporate Affairs Officer to join our Government Relations (GR) & Policy team. BURN designs, manufactures, and distributes aspirational fuel-efficient cooking products that save lives and forests in the developing world. Since 2013, BURN has sold over 200,000 high-quality, locally manufactured cookstoves, proving the business case for sustainable energy solutions. This role is designed to enhance productivity, improve coordination across multi-country engagements, and ensure consistency in policy messaging across various industry bodies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the scalable growth of the Corporate Affairs function across the region's projects.
Responsibilities
Improve productivity and time management across the Government Relations & Policy team.

Strengthen consistency in policy messaging within industry bodies.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Law, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in corporate affairs, government relations, policy support, or a similar coordination role.
Coordination Skills: Strong administrative, organisational, and scheduling skills; experience supporting multi-stakeholder or multi-country teams is an advantage.
Knowledge Base: Familiarity with industry associations, regulatory environments, or policy processes is desirable.
Personal Attributes: Excellent organisational and time-management skills with great attention to detail and follow-through.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ethics: Professional judgment and discretion in external engagements.
Interests: Interest in public policy, regulation, and stakeholder engagement.
