The Concurrent Servicing Supervisor / Vent Monitor is responsible for overseeing and monitoring concurrent aircraft servicing operations in accordance with U.S. Navy, Department of Defense, and aviation safety standards. This role involves supervising fueling and servicing activities conducted simultaneously with other aircraft maintenance or cargo operations to ensure strict compliance with safety protocols. The position plays a critical role in preventing incidents and supporting safe, mission‑critical aviation operations in a remote, high‑risk environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Supervision: Oversee concurrent aircraft servicing and fueling operations to ensure adherence to DoD and U.S. Navy standards.
Ventilation Monitoring: Ensure proper ventilation is maintained during fueling operations, monitor vapor levels, and verify that all safety equipment and grounding procedures are in place.
Operational Observation: Maintain continuous observation of servicing areas to identify and immediately halt operations when safety risks are identified.
Team Coordination: Coordinate with fuel handlers, aircrew, maintenance personnel, and operations leadership.
Documentation: Record and document all concurrent servicing activities and enforce safety standards among the team.
Training & Guidance: Provide on‑the‑job guidance and supervision to assigned personnel to ensure adherence to safety requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft servicing, aviation operations, fuel operations, or safety monitoring.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Note: Some administrative summaries may prioritize BA/BSc/HND holders).
Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of concurrent servicing procedures, aviation safety standards, and fuel handling operations.
Compliance: Ability to monitor operations continuously and respond quickly to hazardous conditions.
Travel: Must possess a valid passport (valid for at least one year beyond hire date) and be able to travel internationally.
Medical: Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for the duration of the deployment.
Credentials: Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary facility credentials and authorizations.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience specifically serving as a Concurrent Servicing Supervisor or Vent Monitor.
Experience working in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi‑national workforce.
Familiarity with U.S. Navy or DoD aviation fueling and ground safety regulations.
Prior supervisory or lead experience in aviation operations.
Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to obtain country‑specific visa(s) in accordance with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide.
