As a Completions Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all engineering activities are in line with HSE policies and procedures, driving an HSE culture through safe work practices. You will prepare well designs, well plans, and operational procedures for well construction, completion, intervention, and abandonment. This role involves defining technical services, preparing time and cost estimates, and collaborating with stakeholders on risk management and contingency plans.
Key Responsibilities
Participating in tender bid preparation and customer presentations.
Preparing well design and operational procedures for construction, completion, and intervention.
Defining technical services and third-party requirements while preparing operational time and cost estimates.
Collaborating with internal and external parties to prepare risk registers and contingency plans.
Monitoring daily progress and operations expenditure.
Evaluating best practices and technological advancements for Integrated Solutions operations.
Communicating effectively with stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
Monitoring technical and operations KPIs against benchmark data.
Participating in Root Cause Analysis investigations and preparing technical reports (End of Well Reports, lessons learned).
Ensuring compliance with data management procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering (MS in Petroleum/Oil & Gas preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in well construction, completions, intervention, or optimization.
Experience in sand control, inflow control, flow assurance, and hydraulic stimulation.
Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and well engineering software (hydraulics, torque and drag, casing design).
Knowledge of conventional rotary drilling, horizontal/multilateral wells, and unconventional drilling.
Experience in well control awareness and geo-mechanics.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
