Community Outreach Officers - Nanyuki

CIC Insurance Group Limited, a leading insurance and investment group operating in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, and Malawi, is seeking Community Outreach Officers for its Nanyuki operations. This role is pivotal in driving business growth through community engagement, lead generation, and partner relationship management. The primary focus is to expand CIC’s reach and drive the uptake of insurance products within the region.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Identify and recruit new clients and intermediaries, including cooperatives, MFIs, registered groups, and bancassurance partners. Focus on reactivating dormant accounts and expanding outreach channels.\n* Conduct community sensitization, deliver product presentations, and organize training sessions for clients and intermediaries to increase awareness and product uptake.\n* Prepare proposals and quotations, follow up on leads, and manage sales pipelines. Work closely with underwriting and customer service teams for smooth client onboarding.\n* Monitor and share insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to help improve products.\n* Consistently meet individual and team sales targets while maintaining brand values, customer satisfaction, and policy persistency.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n* Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related field; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.\n* Insurance qualifications such as COP, ECOP, or Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII/LOMA) are an added advantage.\n* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.\n* Prior experience in community engagement, sales, or field mobilization is highly desirable.\n* Candidates must be 25 years of age and above.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online through the CIC Insurance careers portal at .
