The role of the Community Oral Health Officer (COHO) at Nairobi West Hospital Ltd is crucial for managing the dental clinic and ensuring quality patient care. The primary purpose of this role is to run the dental clinic, review dental cases, and provide necessary therapy or make appropriate referrals.
Job Purpose
The COHO is responsible for:
Running the dental clinic.
Reviewing of dental cases.
Providing necessary therapy or making referrals.
Qualifications and Experience
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Diploma in Community oral health/Dentistry or equivalent from a reputable institution.
Current practicing certificate.
Experience
At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
Other Added Advantages (Skills)
Excellent negotiation skills.
Good verbal communication skills - a good listener.
