Role Overview
The Community Oral Health Officer (COHO) will be responsible for providing clinical oral health care, dental hygiene services, and promoting oral hygiene practices within the community.
Academic & Professional Qualifications
Diploma in Community Oral Health
Registered with a valid license from Oral Health Association of Kenya (OHAK) / Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC)
Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience
Desirable Competencies
Proficient in computer applications
Good communication skills
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of dental hygiene and oral health
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry advancements
Compliance with regulatory and Oral Safety standards
