The objective of the Community Development Facilitator role is to build capacities of target communities to utilize available resources for improved food security, nutrition, and income.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Build capacities of target communities to utilize available resources for improved food security, nutrition, and income.
Diploma in Sustainable Agriculture, or Agriculture Extension with 2 years of working with communities in agriculture or Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture or Agriculture and Extension with 3 years or more experience in agriculture community related projects.
Demonstrate passion and commitment to empowering marginalized individuals and communities to achieve decent livelihoods.
Utilize teaching and facilitation experience to engage communities.
Apply participatory management and program approaches in project execution.
Utilize conflict management, analytical, writing, reporting, and presentation skills.
Demonstrate computer literacy with proficiency in standard operating software applications.
Experience with the donor community will be an added advantage.
Possess skills in riding a motorbike.
