Soroi Collection, a leading eco-luxury camp and lodge brand, is excited to announce the upcoming opening of new units in Soroi Samburu Lodge (Samburu National Reserve), Soroi Laimara Amboseli (Amboseli National Reserve), and Soroi Blue (Diani-Coastal region). We are seeking self-motivated, passionate, and professionally qualified Commis Chefs to join our team in delivering exceptional hospitality and guest experiences in Africa's wild heart. These family-run luxury hideaways blend boutique charm with the excitement of raw, untouched nature.
Responsibilities
Assist senior kitchen staff in the preparation and cooking of meals for guests.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation according to company standards.
Assist with ingredient preparation, portioning, and storage.
Follow all food safety and health regulations.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.
Requirements and Qualifications
A minimum of a BA/BSc or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Professionally qualified in catering or confectionery.
Self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated to delivering a luxury guest experience.
Strong team player with a willingness to learn and grow.
Ability to adapt to working in remote eco-luxury camp environments.
