Job Description
We are looking for a Sales and Leasing Consultant who will be responsible for marketing and selling our space in Nairobi. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi County, Kenya, where you will engage with a variety of businesses and professionals to promote our coworking spaces and private offices.
Key Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with startups, SMEs, corporates, NGOs, and remote professionals.
Generate new business leads through networking, referrals, digital platforms, and direct outreach.
Conduct professional tours for prospective clients and showcase available facilities.
Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Prepare and negotiate membership agreements and lease documentation.
Convert inquiries into paying members and long-term clients.
Achieve monthly and quarterly occupancy and revenue targets.
Identify opportunities for upselling additional services.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Resolve member concerns promptly and professionally.
Market available properties, conduct property tours, and guide prospective residents through the leasing process from initial inquiry to move-in.
Prepare and manage lease documents, ensuring accurate lease administration, and maintaining up-to-date records in relevant systems.
Handle resident inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and implement strategies to enhance resident retention and satisfaction.
Coordinate with property management and maintenance teams, monitor market trends, and achieve occupancy and revenue targets through effective sales and customer service practices.
Support marketing campaigns aimed at increasing occupancy.
Participate in networking events, exhibitions, and business forums.
Develop partnerships with business associations, chambers of commerce, and startup communities.
Gather market intelligence on competitor offerings and pricing.
Maintain CRM records and sales activity reports.
Track occupancy rates, sales performance, and lead conversion metrics.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
Ensure all membership agreements and documentation are properly filed.
Qualifications and Experience
Strong knowledge of leases, lease terms, and lease administration, with the ability to prepare, review, and manage lease documentation accurately.
Experience in resident retention, including relationship-building, conflict resolution, and implementing initiatives that improve resident satisfaction and renewals.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage prospects, respond to inquiries professionally, and manage diverse resident needs.
Proven sales or leasing experience in real estate, property management, or a related field is highly preferred.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and meet leasing and occupancy targets in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with basic office software and property management or CRM systems; comfort with digital tools for reporting and documentation.
Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field is an advantage.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a professional, customer-focused approach.
