As a Collections Officer – Mobile Money at Mwananchi Credit Limited, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of mobile money loans, negotiating repayments with clients, and ensuring compliance with credit collection guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage the assigned mobile money loan portfolio.
Loan Repayment Negotiation: Contact clients to negotiate and secure loan repayment plans.
Targets and Campaigns: Work towards achieving set recovery targets and participate in collection campaigns.
Compliance: Ensure all collection efforts comply with company policies and legal standards.
Loan Repayment Updates: Maintain updated records of payments and repayment plans.
Accuracy: Maintain good numerical accuracy and record-keeping discipline.
Must Have Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Credit Management, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with auto-dialer systems, loan management/CRM systems, and MS Office.
Experience: At least 1-2 years' experience in debt collection, credit control, or call-centre collections, preferably in microfinance, banking, or mobile lending.
