Reporting to the Cluster Hotel Manager, the Cluster IT Manager will be responsible for operational IT management, including relationship management with Hotel GMs, EXCOM, HODs, and other business-critical users. The successful candidate will ensure proper business planning, budgeting of IT expenditures, and compliance with Accor IT policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Operational IT Management: Manage operational IT and maintain strong relationships with Hotel GMs, EXCOM, HODs, and business-critical users.
Planning & Budgeting: Oversee business planning and budgeting for IT expenditures, ensuring alignment with Accor IT policies.
Investment Justification: Create compelling business cases to justify IT investments and support approval processes.
Reporting: Provide regular status reports on the hotel's IT situation to the Cluster GM and the VP IT / Cluster Hotel Manager.
Project Management: Initiate, manage, and consult on strategic IT projects and matters concerning the hotel.
Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with hardware and software partners, escalating and resolving system/hardware issues (computers, servers, routers, switches, PABX, POS, etc.) when needed.
Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with Accor IT Security Policy, General Data Protection (GDPR), and backup policies to achieve the highest level of security.
Software & Licensing: Ensure only original and properly licensed software is utilized, and restrict user access to strictly job-necessary programs.
Training: Design and maintain IT training programs in coordination with Learning & Development to optimize staff systems skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a five-star hotel environment.
Degree qualification (BA/BSc/HND).
Strategic thinker, results-driven, process-oriented, and highly attentive to detail.
Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and direct a team to achieve goals.
