AIC Kijabe Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Educator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading educational activities, clinical teaching, and simulation-based training.
Key Responsibilities
Design and facilitate clinical teaching and simulation-based education programs.
Support educational activities across various specialties, including Obstetrics & Gynecology, Surgery, Anesthesia, and Pediatrics/Neonatology.
Travel up to 20 weeks per year to deliver educational programs and training.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Medicine & Surgery with specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Surgery, Anesthesia, Pediatrics/Neonatology, or a related field.
Additional training in medical education, simulation, or global health is an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including obstetric or surgical emergency care.
Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching and/or simulation-based education.
Registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) with a valid practicing license.
Willingness to travel up to 20 weeks per year for educational activities.
