Role Overview
This is the entry grade for the Clerical Officer cadre within the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). An officer at this level may be deployed at County and Sub-county offices to provide essential administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of records management and logistical tracking within the institution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Filing System Management: Maintain an efficient filing system to ensure documents are secure and easily accessible.
Record Keeping: Post various entries into relevant ledgers and handle requisitions according to ODPP procedures.
Resource Monitoring: Provide necessary data and information used to monitor the utilization of resources within the office.
Correspondence: Draft simple official correspondences as advised by supervisors.
Statistical Records: Compile simple statistical records based on routine or special sources of information.
Information Logistics: Manage the receipt and record the entry and exit of office information materials.
Requirements for Appointment
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:
Education: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum grade of C (Plain).
Technical Training: A Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.
Ethical Standards: Must meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 regarding integrity and leadership.
