Role Overview\nJacaranda Maternity is an NHIF-accredited provider focused on high-quality, affordable, and client-centric maternal health care. We are seeking a Chief of Staff (CoS) to serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and a key member of the executive committee. This role is designed for a high-performing professional, ideally with a background in management consulting, who can manage high-stakes projects, streamline organizational communications, and drive cross-functional collaboration. The CoS will play a pivotal role in leveraging technology—such as AI for clinical decision-making and new ERP systems—to optimize human resource costs and improve patient journeys across Sub-Saharan Africa.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\n#### CEO Support\n* Support the CEO in managing strategic projects, including technology initiatives to optimize HR costs and clinical AI implementation.\n* Act as the central point of communication for the CEO, both internally and externally, keeping them informed and anticipating holistic business issues.\n* Prepare all logistics and materials for board meetings and other corporate annual meetings.\n* Manage and prioritize executive workflows to ensure meeting reports, correspondence, and urgent matters are handled professionally and timely.\n\n#### Coordination of Teams\n* Facilitate communication and collaboration in decision-making and initiative implementation among senior management and functional leadership.\n* Identify and resolve cross-functional bottlenecks.\n* Provide strategic analysis of the competitive landscape and industry trends.\n* Operate with humility and mutual respect to influence and collaborate with tenured leaders.\n\n#### Strategic Projects\n* Help define the strategic vision, document business plans, and ensure follow-through on strategic initiatives.\n* Prioritize initiatives to drive business, clinical, and team impact across existing countries of operation.\n* Provide analytical insight to inform decisions on new business offerings and entry into new markets across Sub-Saharan Africa.\n* Play a critical role in high-profile acquisitions and financing projects.\n\n#### Capacity Building\n* Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.\n* Provide training support and mentorship in modeling, analytics, and enterprise-level system upgrades.\n\n#### Supervisory Responsibilities\n* The CoS will primarily act as an individual contributor reporting to the CEO, but will lead various teams on a project-by-project basis.\n* Potential future oversight of functions such as market analytics, marketing, communications, and IT.\n\n### Candidate Profile\n\n#### Qualifications and Experience\n* Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university is required; an MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.\n* At least 3 years of work experience, with a strong preference for a management consulting background (e.g., Bain, BCG, McKinsey).\n* Exceptional analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel modeling.\n* Strong written and presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.\n* Ability to synthesize large quantities of information into key actionable points.\n* Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a self-directed way while keeping stakeholders informed.\n* High level of professionalism and confidentiality.\n* Personality fit for a high-growth, entrepreneurial culture.\n* Willingness to get hands-on to achieve results while maintaining a high-level strategic view.\n* Passion for Jacaranda’s Mission.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should submit their application through the official career portal: Apply Here.
