Role Overview
The Chief Executive Officer & Secretary to the Kisumu County Revenue Board is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall management of the Kisumu County Revenue Board. The primary objective of the role is to ensure the effective mobilization, collection, and management of county revenue in line with applicable laws and policies, enhancing fiscal sustainability and supporting the delivery of county services.

Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the Kisumu County Revenue Board.
Ensure effective mobilization, collection, and management of county revenue.
Enhance fiscal sustainability to support the delivery of county services.
Manage revenue in compliance with applicable laws and policies.
Oversee the administration and operations of the Board.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:
Be a Kenyan Citizen.
Have served for a minimum period of ten (10) years in Senior Management level or in a comparable position in the Public or Private Sector.
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Possess a Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Have completed a Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
Have demonstrated exceptional professional and managerial competence evidenced by consistent achievement of outstanding revenue performance and results.
Note: Registration with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or any other recognized accounting body and in good standing will be an added advantage.
