Job Description
Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to manage kitchen operations and prepare high-quality meals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
Prepare and cook a wide range of high-quality meals, focusing on local, continental, and grill dishes.
Handle basic seafood preparation and cooking.
Ensure that all food is prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Lead and organize kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy periods.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts.
BA/BSc/HND or a Professional Certificate.
Proven experience working as a Chef or Cook in a high-volume, busy kitchen environment.
Strong technical skills in preparing local, continental, and grill cuisines.
Basic knowledge of seafood preparation techniques.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
