The Chairperson – Audit Committee provides leadership and oversight in strengthening governance, accountability, and financial integrity within the Public Service Commission Kenya (PSCK). This role is critical in ensuring the Commission's financial reporting and internal control systems are robust and transparent. ### Duties and Responsibilities - Chairing audit committee meetings and coordinating audit oversight activities. - Reviewing financial statements, audit reports, and internal control systems. - Advising the Commission on risk management and financial governance issues. - Monitoring implementation of internal and external audit recommendations. - Ensuring compliance with public financial management and governance frameworks. - Providing oversight on institutional risk management practices. - Supporting strengthening of internal audit and accountability mechanisms. - Reporting audit committee findings and recommendations to the Commission. ### Requirements and Qualifications - Minimum of a BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field. - Proven experience in audit oversight, risk management, and financial governance. - Deep understanding of public sector financial management and accountability mechanisms. - Strong strategic leadership and reporting skills. - Reference Vacancy No: 9/2026. ### How to Apply Interested and qualified candidates are required to submit their applications online through the Commission’s website at or through the PSC jobs portal at .
