Job Description
The County Government of Kitui is seeking to recruit qualified and dedicated individuals to fill the position of Cateress (2 Posts). This role is vital in promoting community health through nutrition assessments and education, while managing catering-related responsibilities within the county framework.
Role Purpose
The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting nutrition evaluations, providing health education to the public, and ensuring effective monitoring and reporting of nutrition and catering activities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Nutrition Assessment: Performing comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify community needs.
Community Nutrition: Actively engaging in community and public nutrition initiatives to improve health outcomes.
Health Education & Counselling: Providing health education and counselling services to individuals and community groups.
Reporting: Monitoring, evaluating, and providing detailed reports on activities and outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must be a Citizen of Kenya.
Possess a Diploma or Certificate in Catering, Nutrition, and Dietetics, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in Computer Applications.
Possess a Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution.
