Cadet Officers - Economist/Statistician

The National Youth Service (NYS) is seeking to recruit qualified Kenyan citizens for the position of Cadet Officers - Economist/Statistician (3 Posts). Role Overview

As a Cadet Officer in the Economics and Statistics department, you will play a vital role in data collection, economic analysis, and strategic planning. General Requirements

• Must be a Kenyan citizen.
• Age between 18 and 28 years.
• Possess a valid Kenyan National Identity Card (ID) and KRA PIN Certificate.
• Must have no criminal record.
• Must be medically fit.
• Must meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
• Must possess a certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum KCSE grade of C+ (plus).
• Specifically, hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Statistics, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
