Business Development Representative - Security Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Market Research & Growth: Contribute to market research, including identifying market potential and finding opportunities for growth in East and West Africa.
• Lead Generation & Sales: Generate sales with new clients through cold calling and networking.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers through daily contact, presentations, and frequent visits.
• Commercial Negotiations: Prepare commercial offers and ensure contracts to achieve assigned sales goals.
• Representation: Attend exhibitions and meetings to represent Teltonika and our security products.
• CRM Maintenance: Build and maintain a CRM database.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with the technical support department and product specialists to address customer requirements.

What We Expect of You

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven excellence in a Sales Executive or relevant sales role with B2B selling experience.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the industry and able to articulate insights about selling security technology in East and West Africa.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent English skills (both spoken and written).
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent listening, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Personality: Organised, results-oriented, and challenge-driven personality.
• Communication: Strong presentation and business communication skills.
• Rapport Building: Strong ability to establish and leverage industry-relevant rapport to support the growth of the business.
• Mobility: Open to traveling across the region to grow the client base.
• Drive: Go-getter who is not afraid to hunt opportunities relentlessly.
