The Business Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring data integrity, providing actionable insights through analytics, and supporting the technical and operational aspects of sales and business systems. This role acts as a bridge between data analysis and business operations, ensuring that technical platforms such as DMS, eCommerce, and ERP systems are optimized to support the company's growth, specifically regarding Taimba tech products.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Analytics
Conduct thorough data quality checks in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support customer service and field staff by addressing data-related queries.
Utilize analytical tools to identify potential risks and issues within projects and propose viable solutions.
Generate and deliver regular updates (daily, weekly, and ad-hoc) to management.
Implement customer surveys and define critical metrics for assessing feedback.
Deliver sales performance metrics, dashboards, and specialized analytical reports.
Lead automation efforts to streamline the lead-to-fulfillment process.
Sales Operations
Assist in all day-to-day operations within the sales department.
Review sales opportunities for accuracy and provision orders upon successful deal closure.
Provide system support to the sales team for DMS, eCommerce, and other sales operations tools.
Work alongside the Sales Operations Manager to refine sales processes and data quality.
Technical Support
Provide end-to-end technical support for Taimba tech products (DMS, eCommerce, ERP), including user training.
Perform root cause analysis for technical issues and document them for resolution or bug fixing.
Respond to support desk issues within established SLA timelines.
Communicate resolution status to the CTO, Sales Manager, and other stakeholders.
Manage escalation of issues from Level 1 to Level 2 support and further to the CTO or technical contractors.
Monitor systems for failures and provide proactive updates to stakeholders.
Facilitate and document support sync meetings post-resolution.
Produce weekly and monthly summary reports on technical support ticket trends.
Develop and maintain comprehensive training manuals.
Requirements and Qualifications
3–5 years of professional data analysis experience, preferably in customer-focused industries like FMCG, tech, insurance, retail, or real estate.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, IT, or a related quantitative field.
