ARC Ride is seeking a hybrid Business Analyst / Project Manager who will act as a bridge between our business and technology teams, translating real-world needs into clear technical requirements and driving execution. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, gather and define business requirements, define project scopes, map workflows, and turn complex ideas into actionable plans. You will guide projects end-to-end, from organizing team priorities to tracking milestones and clearing roadblocks, while keeping everyone aligned and informed. This role is based at our headquarters in Nairobi.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams.
Engage with stakeholders to capture needs, challenges, and goals.
Convert high-level business goals into clear specifications for technology and data teams.
Map workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose process improvements.
Serve as the point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clarity and understanding.
Support light project management by tracking progress, managing dependencies, and ensuring delivery on schedule.
Facilitate communication across stakeholders, providing updates on priorities, decisions, and next steps.
Requirements
At least 4 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a similar role, primarily within a technology-driven environment.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or PhD) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; significant industry experience will be considered in place of a degree.
Proven ability to gather and document requirements, create user stories, and manage product backlogs.
Familiarity with business process mapping, software development processes, workflow design, and defining requirements.
Comfort working with technology and data teams.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
