We are currently recruiting for a BTEC Music Teacher for the academic year commencing September 2026. Role Overview
As a BTEC Music Teacher, you will be part of a happy, hardworking family committed to rethinking and caring for each other. You will be responsible for delivering the Music curriculum within the BTEC framework, ensuring that students are given the opportunities to lead a life of learning through dedicated study.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Music lessons in line with the BTEC curriculum standards.
Utilize educational technology and IT tools to enhance the learning process and deliver technology-based education.
Support individual student needs within an academically motivated environment.
Foster a culture of integrity, self-discipline, and mutual care among students.
Participate in the school's fellowship and contribute to its holistic educational goals.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their personal and academic growth.
Requirements and Qualifications
Academic Qualification: Minimum of a BA/BSc or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Music or a related field.
Professional Certification: A recognized teaching qualification is mandatory.
Regulatory Registration: Mandatory registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is required for all teaching staff.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience teaching Music in an international school setting.
Technical Skills: Must be IT savvy and proficient in using technology for classroom instruction.
