Role Overview
The Branding Coordinator ensures consistent and timely execution of brand identity across all restaurant locations and brand environments. This role supports the translation of brand strategy and creative direction into tangible, high-quality branding elements across physical spaces, artwork, signage, and visual assets.
Working closely with marketing, projects, operations, designers, artists, and suppliers, the coordinator manages the end-to-end coordination of branding implementation. This ensures all brand touchpoints are implemented accurately, align with brand standards, and are delivered on schedule—particularly regarding new restaurant openings, renovations, and brand refresh initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Brand Implementation & Coordination
- Coordinate the implementation of branding mood boards and branding elements across new projects, locations, and other brand environments.
- Ensure all branding materials align with established brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
Project Management
- Track timelines and deliverables related to branding for new openings and brand refresh projects.
- Coordinate across internal teams to ensure branding requirements are integrated into project schedules.
- Ensure all branding elements are delivered and installed before launch deadlines.
- Work with internal marketing, operations, design teams, and external partners to ensure seamless implementation.
Supplier & Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with printing vendors, signage suppliers, fabricators, and other branding partners.
- Obtain quotes, manage timelines, and ensure suppliers deliver according to specifications.
- Follow up on production and installation of branding materials.
Artist & Artwork Coordination
- Liaise with artists and designers to commission, develop, and finalize art and artworks.
- Manage a portfolio of artists with regular recruitment to refresh the artist portfolio.
- Coordinate approvals and ensure artwork meets brand requirements.
- Manage delivery timelines for art pieces and installations within restaurant spaces.
Licensing & Compliance
- Coordinate with the JH Security Officer to obtain branding-related licensing or permissions where required.
- Ensure the use of artwork, design assets, and related branded materials comply with licensing agreements.
Launch Readiness Support
- Support new restaurant openings by ensuring all branding elements are ready ahead of launch.
- Develop and maintain a branding checklist for new openings including signage and artworks.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all brand-related deliverables are completed in time for openings and launches.
- Coordinate photoshoots for new locations and branding updates where necessary.
Planning & Budgeting
- Deliver restaurant brandings within allocated budgets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in marketing, branding, design coordination, or brand project management.
- Additional Advantage: Design experience is an added advantage.
