We are currently seeking a Branch Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our branch, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Opening Duties: Head team briefs and assign employees their tasks for the day.
Staff Management: Supervise and manage staff at the branch level and ensure their performance targets are met.
Office Administration: Manage office operations such as rent payments, permits, petty cash, and any other payments.
Training: Train and coach new staff so that they understand company products and services.
Performance Monitoring: Oversee and monitor the performance of staff portfolios.
Market Analysis: Analyze the market and advise on risks and how to mitigate them.
Opportunity Identification: Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective opportunities.
Goal Achievement: Ensure branch goals and targets are consistently met.
Business Development: Market the branch within the community to attract business and travel across the area for business development.
Closing Duties: Carry out closing duties by reconciling daily collections, disbursements, and ensuring they are captured correctly on the system.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other business-related course.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in leadership specifically from the Microfinance/Microcredit industry.
Ability to manage multiple sales teams and deliver results.
Ability to work under pressure.
Strong leadership skills.
Proactive and a good listener.
Good performance management skills.
Superior organizational and time management skills.
