About the Role
The Branch Manager for the Hola Branch is responsible for driving branch profitability through effective revenue generation and cost management. The role entails growing and monitoring the branch's liability and asset portfolios, expanding the customer base, and ensuring top-tier customer service and digital transition. Additionally, the Branch Manager will oversee risk management compliance and lead, coach, and develop branch personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Performance: Achieve branch profitability targets through revenue maximisation and prudent cost management.
- Portfolio Growth: Grow and monitor the branch’s liability and asset portfolios to achieve set business targets.
- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Grow the customer base, ensure retention of existing customers through a high level of customer satisfaction, and leverage cross-selling opportunities.
- Branch Operations: Oversee the overall management of the branch through efficient utilisation of resources.
- Service Delivery: Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining high service standards.
- Risk Management: Ensure compliance with the Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework.
- Leadership & Development: Motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing branch team.
- Digital Advocacy: Champion digital migration and adoption within the branch.
Job Requirements & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field from a recognized institution.
- Cash Management Training is required.
- A minimum of 8 years of General Banking experience, with at least 2 years at the Branch Manager level.
- At least 6 months of experience in Branch Operations (Cash, Clearing, Accounts & Administration).
- At least 4 years of experience in the following areas:
- Personal, Business, or Retail Banking, or as a Sales Manager
- Credit Management
- Customer Service or Relationship Management
