Job Description
As a Branch Manager at Java House, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant branch. Your primary objective is to ensure high standards of service, quality, and profitability while leading and developing a productive team. You will be tasked with maintaining strict adherence to company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational excellence to deliver the renowned Java experience to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, food preparation and serving protocols, and facility repair and maintenance.
Drive company objectives in sales, service quality, facility appearance, and hygiene through employee training and organizing regular deep cleaning.
Adhere to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies.
Prevent, handle, and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality and service.
Review financial statements, activity reports, and performance data to measure productivity and identify areas for cost reduction or improvement.
Sample food and drink items through regular store audits to ensure palatability and flavor conformity.
Resolve personnel problems and administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for policy violations.
Review work procedures and operational problems to improve service, performance, or safety.
Organize Branch Head of Department (H.O.D) meetings and provide leadership to develop the team.
Manage staff shifts to ensure balanced strength across all departments.
Conduct regular performance reviews for subordinate staff.
Requirements
Proven leadership and management experience, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong understanding of restaurant operations, health and safety, and food service standards.
Ability to analyze financial data and manage branch budgets/performance.
Excellent conflict resolution and personnel management skills.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer service.
