Kisiwa Technical Training Institute (recently upgraded to Kisiwa National Polytechnic) is seeking a qualified and dedicated Biology Trainer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical instruction in biological sciences, fostering student growth, and contributing to the academic excellence of the institution.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Instruction: Conduct engaging and effective training sessions on technical biological subjects.
Student Assessment: Monitor, evaluate, and report on student progress through regular assessments.
Industrial Attachment: Supervise and mentor students during their Industrial Attachment periods to ensure practical skill acquisition.
Research: Undertake research in the respective training area to keep abreast of industry trends and scientific advancements.
Curriculum Development: Design and develop curricula and training materials tailored to specific learning objectives and the needs of the industry.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry or Biological Sciences.
A Certificate in pedagogy (teaching methods).
Must be professionally registered with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA).
