Bearing Assembler

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Assemble and maintain bearings according to specified technical standards.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals for assembly tasks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Work efficiently within a heavy industrial environment, often in shifts or flexible hours.
• Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards during the assembly process.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Academic Qualification: Minimum KCSE or a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering. Higher qualifications like a BA/BSc/HND in a relevant engineering field are also recognized.
• General Experience: Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
• Specific Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience specific to the position of Bearing Assembler or a similar technical role.
• Added Advantage: Hands-on experience working in rolling mills.
